- Salem's Wych
Salem's Wych Salem's Wych formed in 1983. Along with fellow U.S. bands Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus and Helstar, Salem's Wych helped to form a sound of heavy metal mixed with punk which would go on to be called thrash metal and power metal.
In 1986 Salem's Wych released Betrayer of Kings which went on to be a cult metal classic album.
The band broke up in 1988 and reformed in 2000. Currently a new album Through All Eternity is scheduled for a 2005 worldwide release.
