The New York Vaults The music of THE NEW YORK VAULTS harkens back to the days when rock and roll was fun and full of energetic guitars, hooks and melodies. This Rochester, New York based quintet derives much of its influence from the seminal New York City music scene of the 1970's.
Fronted by the dynamic 6' 6" "Too Tall Paul" Vezelis, THE NEW YORK VAULTS bring the "roll" back to "rock." The band's rollicking, wide open live shows have drawn comparisons to the Black Crowes, the Rolling Stones and The Stooges. They were the winners of the 2006 Little Steven’s Underground Garage Battle of the Bands and were selected to open for THE NEW YORK DOLLS in Buffalo, NY as part of his new national tour.
Since the release of their "Fuel Your Fascination" CD and the first single "Get Back", the NEW YORK VAULTS have been rocking the AAA airwaves on 46 stations including KFAN/Fredericksburg, TX, KTKE/Truckee, CA, KUWR/Laramie WY, KZMU/Moab, UT, WERU/Bangor, ME, WJHS/Columbia City, IN, WOCM/Ocean City, MD, WQNR/Auburn, AL, WSGE/Dallas/Charlotte, NC, WXYB/Tampa, FL and WYOU/Virginia Beach.
The New York Vaults have also crossed over to the influential DMX Mainstream Rock Channel.
