  • Violent Divine

    Violent Divine

History begins in the early 80's where the all the popular bands bands where arena-bands and most of them come out of the L.A. In a sleepy little town in Sweden, 4 guys grew up listening to the brand new kind of metal and hardrock that MTV and the independent recordstores offered them. Bands like Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison, Van Halen, Aerosmith where highway of inspiration for this 4 guys (even though Klaus were more into the trash scene with bands like Slayer and the early version of Metallica, and didn't care much for those "hairbands" that were ruling the charts). While growing up and starting their own bands, their paths crossed every now and then. Through bands like Marshal Kane, Abandoned Sphinx, Starsky, Sleazy Rose, Millhouse these 4 guys met, broke up, met again for about over a decade, until the day in 2005 when the time had come to form VIOLENT DIVINE. Colored by their background and their musical sources of inspiration, VIOLENT DIVINE is a summary of all those years playing music, being on stage, playin the same records that they did when it all began... and the love they share for this kind of hard but melodic rock. Well, there it is.... it's divine attitude.

  • Artful Music for Evolving People

    Artful Music for Evolving People

Indie music site of L.A. vocal siren Nijole (pronounced Neola) Sparkis, who writes dreamy, spiritual folk / world pop music. Nijole’s vocals are hypnotic and her songwriting solid, but what sets her atmospheric sound apart from the crowd is her choice of exotic, richly textured world music instruments and Lithuanian choral background vocals, with appeal for fans of everything from the lavish pop of Kate Bush and Loreena McKennitt, to the harmony-laden Enya and the Eurocentric Dead Can Dance. Instruments include sitar, Turkish saz, octave mandolin, flamenco guitar, electric guitar and keyboards, ethnic percussion and flutes, cello and Arabic violin.

  • Jeff Taylor

    Jeff Taylor

Taking country music by storm, Indianapolis native Jeff Taylor combines soul and country in his brand of modern country music; a guitar-addled mix reminiscent of early Nashville greats. Taylor's mid-range voice is nicely twangy (think Randy Travis), and most of the songs are catchy, upbeat tunes devoted to country living and romantic escapades, though a few - notably the reflective Who I Am and the title cut - go beyond country cliche.

  • LongRoad

    LongRoad

Long Road is an amalgam of three childhood friends hailing from New Jersey and singer Ted Ames, from Coventry, Vermont. Long Road was formed in January 2005 when the other members met Ted Ames at the Knitting Factory in NYC and decided that the commonality of musical influence and interest among them should be explored further in the studio. The result is the band’s debut CD, This Too Shall Pass, which speaks for itself. A broad mix of influence has yielded a sound that is alternate rock in nature with an aggressive (occasionally passive) blues core.

  • Stephan Crump

    Stephan Crump

On Rosetta, you can hear Stephan’s omnivorous outlook filtering through. The songs are complex yet immediate, and ever-so-slightly twisted. Each is its own compact universe, but the album tells a unified tale. The coherence of Stephan’s art is rare. And thanks to this rare and imaginative lineup – bass and two richly contrasting guitars – his gifts are nakedly and thrillingly apparent. Rosetta is jazz as it’s never quite sounded before

  • Trystette

    Trystette

Trystette, New York based singer Carrie Beehan, applauded by the press for her unique vocal and lyrical approach to the break beat dance genre and coolly dramatic voice with her '98 debut album Tryst/Tryst (BMG/Universal), the front woman of former early 90's satirical Berlin band Cadillac Crooning, presents in 2006 her new album The Deepest Part of My Soul.

  • Box of Poems

    Box of Poems

They feature rock-pop oriented tunes with a contagious melodic foundation that propels them in many different directions." While rock-pop is the predominant style on this recording, you well hear some nice Latin flavored acoustic guitar like on the "Pools of my Love." This demonstrates that they are a talented group with different dimensions to offer the listener that is always looking for a little something extra or different with their listening experiences. They certainly do not disappoint the discerning listener as each track has some surprises that come up during the course of the CD.
