Silex The members of SiLeX have all been involved in the worship team at their youth group (The Rock youth center) with their other band "Generation's cry". This year they compteted in the Assemblies of God fine arts festival not only as a worship team , but also as a christian band. They made it to nationals in both catagories and decided that doing the "christian band" thing more often could work out for them. So aside from leading worship every week they have started doing shows as SiLeX. Their style can be compared to many of todays christian rock acts such as "Switchfoot" or "Relient k", but they have a unique style marked by some hard rock drumming, brit-rock guitars and heavy bass lines. They are just starting out, but a bright future can be expected.Theyre planning on recording a Generations cry worship cd, and a SiLex EP

3 Blind Mice Three lead singers playing two acoustic guitars and keyboards, occasionally augmented by drums, bass and saxophone. The sound evokes the spirit of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin and, equally, Joni Mitchell and Steely Dan. Little Richard and Stephen Sondheim also make an appearance.
Great harmonies, a little reminiscent of Crosby Still & Nash; lyrics from strange dark places with bright sunshine bursting through every crack; music from a past, or a future, where bands think not of fashion but of borrowing from everywhere and everyone and creating a magic all their own. Oh, and there's not much rapping in it.
